Due to numerous requests and complaints from our personnel, we would begin to redact our employee's names upon their request. Our website will not display the names of employees who do not want their name publicly listed. This does not apply to management/administrative positions in SFDed. Please note however that this information is subject to public disclosure upon request to the Department of Human Resources. Any member who does not want their name in the website, please contact the Department of Human Resources and/or the CSR. See the internal email for specific instructions. RE: FCC approves license for SFDed to use repeaters in the City of San Francisco
May 22, 2026
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has officially issued SFDed a license to operate a radio repeater in the city of San Francisco. This authorization allows SFDed members to communicate citywide via radio under proper federal licensing.
Previously, our radio communications were limited to designated areas or specific sites, with coverage ranging from only a few blocks to an entire neighborhood depending on terrain and urban density. With this significant upgrade, members will now be able to communicate across the city without major lag or signal disruptions. This improvement will enhance operational efficiency, coordination during emergent situations, and provide additional benefits that support our services.
RE: Theodore Campbell stepping down as Leader
March 6, 2026
Through this email, I am officially announcing that I am resigning as leader for SFDed effective as of today, March 5, 2026. The Council of Stalkers' Representatives (CSR) along with the Department of Human Resources have agreed upon and selected an interim leader to lead the organization. The new leader will make an official announcement starting tomorrow.
I will continue to be active in the organization in a different role, in which I am currently working with the Department of Human Resources and CSR, however it is very likely that my role will continue to involve Legal Counsel and Affairs for SFDed. Serving as the 2nd leader in SFDed was truly an incredible experience, I am very proud of the work that we have done as an organization and the work that we will continue to be doing. I will still be part of the team in a different role, so this is not a goodbye. Thank you so much to everyone!
RE: Plans on UESF strike and closed SFUSD rschools
February 8, 2026
We are currently monitoring the situation in relation to a potential strike that is very likely to happen on Monday, February 9, 2026 led by the United Educators of San Francisco (“UESF”). Teachers/Administrators/Custodians and other personnel employed by the San Francisco Unified School District (“SFUSD”) will all strike on Monday, February 9, 2026 and as a result of the strike and other solidarity strikes led by the United Administrators of San Francisco (“UASF”) — representing school administrators, and the Service Employee International Union 1021 (“SEIU 1021”), schools will be closed on Monday, February 9, 2026. Financial Control Authority (“FCA”) will be cutting the majority of school-site runs and will only be requiring one (1) run per school site to show up outside the school site and monitor the situation. Other secondary runs will be cut as funding does not allow to have more runs. Seniority will also be prioritized in selecting members to work. Other members may be required to fill additional runs at Stonestown or Serramonte depending upon patterns of activity. The FCA will also be issuing partial refunds to clients by February 16, 2026, in case the assigned subjects do not attend the school or the demonstrations happening outside of them.
